PERC organised an educational visit to the TM VADS Call Centre situated at the 59th Floor of KOMTAR in Penang on 20th November 2008. A total of 10 people participated, a majority of them MNCC members. The purpose of the visit was to get an insight into VADS management and operations. Participants were briefed on the operations; computer facilities and systems supporting the management of the Call Centre. Participants were able to have a first hand look of the physical set up and operations of VADS Business Process Sdn. Bhd. VADS Business Process Sdn. Bhd., Penang which was incorporated on 16th. January 2006 is a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Bhd. (TM). It manages IT solution services and management of contact centres include providing contact centre consultancy services. VADS offers its expertise in Managed Network Services (MNS), System Integration Services (SIS), and Business Process Outsourcing Services (BPO).
